How do I care for my Wear the Earth clothing?

Congratulations on your purchase. Natural fibers will last a long time if given the proper care.

All of our clothing will be labeled with manufacturer’s care instructions.  For best results we recommend the following care:

Clothing made from organic fiber should be washed in an all-natural laundry detergent to maintain the benefits of buying a chemical-free product,  the clothing can be hand washed cold or machine washed in the gentle cycle using cold water.  Air drying your clothing is recommended, If necessary the clothing may be dried in a cool dryer and ironed with a cool setting a hot dryer will break down the natural fibers of the clothing. Please remember that brighter colors may run during the first washings, so wash separately.

We cannot accept returns for improperly laundered items.

Dry cleaning is NOT recommended for natural organic fiber clothing.

Bamboo Blankets and Throws:

We recommend washing them first to help tighten the weave on the blanket. They are loosely woven which is the intent to create a soft to the touch and light feeling. Always wash in cool water and air dry or dry on low.
